Job summary

Lemontree Healthcare is seeking an Overnight Security Professional for the Florida Medical Center in Lauderdale Lakes, FL. This full-time role requires vigilance to protect staff, patients, visitors and property during a night shift from 10:00pm to 6:30am.

You will patrol premises, monitor surveillance, manage access for visitors and contractors, respond to emergencies, document incidents, and provide courteous assistance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Security officer certification required; CPR/First Aid certifications preferred.
• Healthcare setting experience is a plus; strong observation and communication skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the facility inside and outside to ensure security.
• Monitor surveillance equipment and alarms, respond to alerts and incidents.
• Identify and report security risks, hazards and violations for escalation.
• Monitor and control access to the facility; issue visitor badges and maintain records.
• Respond to emergencies, assist evacuations, and document actions taken.
• Provide courteous assistance and directions to staff, patients and visitors.
• Maintain detailed incident logs and complete daily reports.
