Virtua Health is seeking a part-time security officer to safeguard buildings and grounds, monitor property, and assist visitors and staff. The role includes weapon screening at entrances, enforcing policy, and responding to emergencies with appropriate escalation.

The position requires a HS diploma, valid driver's license, and SORA preferred. Salary is hourly and benefits are provided for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• 2 years security experience preferred.
• Ability to stay levelheaded and respond quickly in stressful situations.
• Proficient written and oral communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Perform duties across all posts, including walking, security rounds, and patrols.
• Utilize security systems to manage visitor control, weapon screening, incident reports, and logs.
• Communicate effectively with team, supervisors, nursing staff, and law enforcement.
