Job summary

Responsibilities include patrolling hospital grounds, responding to alarms, ensuring safety, and assisting in evacuations. A High School diploma and security experience are required; BLS and healthcare security credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year in security, law enforcement, corrections or military.
• Basic life support certification within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Patrols hospital, satellite facilities, parking lots and grounds; report hazards.
• Responds to coded alarms and provides security escorts when requested.
• Deters undesired activity and assists in evacuations during emergencies.
• Conducts initial inquiries for administrative and criminal complaints and reports findings.
