Job summary

MultiCare Auburn Medical Center is seeking a Security Officer to join our Security Services team. You will protect people and property, enforce hospital policies, and deter threats across campus with professionalism and compassion.

In this 1.0 FTE evening shift role, you will operate security equipment, respond to incidents, and apply de-escalation techniques to keep patients, staff and visitors safe. A high school diploma and security experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• IAHSS basic certification or ability to obtain within one year.
• Minimum six months of security-related experience.
• Proof of a safe driving record (not required at Navos Hospital).
• BLS certification or obtained within 30 days; First Aid training within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Conduct general security duties to protect people and property.
• Deter criminal activity and enforce policies and regulations.
• Utilize de-escalation techniques and safety procedures to protect staff and visitors.
• Operate security equipment and monitor access and incident response.
