Job summary

Community Health Systems is seeking a Security Officer to ensure safety for patients, staff, visitors, and property. You will patrol facilities, monitor surveillance, and respond to security incidents while delivering excellent customer service and enforcing safety policies.

Responsibilities include patrolling, assisting visitors, documenting incidents, responding to alarms, and coordinating with staff and law enforcement as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in a healthcare or hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patrols all areas of the facility, clinics, and grounds to deter suspicious activity.
• Monitors surveillance cameras and inspects property to identify security risks.
• Investigates and documents reports of security concerns and incidents.
• Responds to alarms and emergencies to resolve issues safely.
• Directs traffic, enforces parking regulations, and assists with crowd control.
