MultiCare Auburn Medical Center is seeking a Security Officer to protect patients, staff and visitors and manage safety across hospital facilities. The role emphasizes proactive security, incident prevention and enforcing policies while supporting a safe campus environment.

The position offers an on-call schedule with a variable shift and requires you to maintain basic certifications such as IAHSS and BLS within established timelines.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Current Washington or Idaho driver’s license (driving not required).
• IAHSS basic certification or ability to obtain within one year of hire.
• Minimum six months of security/police/military experience, preferably in health care.
• Proof of safe driving record per MultiCare standards (not required at Navos).
• BLS certification or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• First Aid training within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Conduct general security to protect people and property and enforce policies.
• Deter criminal activity using tactical techniques.
• Utilize Management of Aggressive Behavior skills as required.
• Apply Awareness, Vigilance, Avoidance, Defense, and Escape concepts to protect the facility.
