Job summary

Children’s Wisconsin is a nationally recognized children’s health system with a Milwaukee campus. The Public Safety Associate role supports operations by greeting visitors, granting badge access, and guiding guests to destinations while maintaining safety and privacy.

Responsibilities include weapon screening, responding to emergencies, and collaborating with hospital staff. High school education is required; healthcare security experience is preferred, and training on CW standards is provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED/HSED required.
• Post high school coursework in criminal justice preferred.
• Experience in customer service required.
• Uniformed security experience in healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist at Welcome Center, badge visitors and guide to destinations.
• Provide weapon screening and report suspicious activities.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of the area; liaise with law enforcement as needed.
• Adhere to CW policies, ethics, and training requirements.
