Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience in scheduling or staffing coordination in healthcare.
• Familiarity with long-term care scheduling practices and staffing ratios.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and publish nursing schedules across all shifts.
• Ensure minimum staffing ratios meet CMS/state requirements.
• Fill open shifts using internal staff, overtime, PRN, and agency resources.
• Manage real-time call-offs, secure coverage quickly.
• Track schedule changes, swaps, overtime, and time-off requests.
• Coordinate with DON for daily shift coverage and gap resolution.
• Maintain PRN and agency backup lists; monitor overtime exposure.
• Generate staffing reports for DON and Administrator.
