Job summary

LIFE Pittsburgh is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to manage staffing allocations for participants, coordinating with internal teams and external agencies. You will maintain schedules, ensure adherence to care plans, and support smooth operations in a non-exempt role.

The role requires strong communication, attention to HIPAA regulations, and the ability to use scheduling software. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are preferred for travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Oversee and coordinate scheduling for LIFE Pittsburgh participants.
• Interpret and respond to participant needs and care plans.
• Use scheduling software and office applications.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant handling of information.
• Possess valid driver's license and vehicle for travel.

Responsibilities

• Enter and schedule all allocated services in the Home Trak database.
• Provide staffing assignments to external agencies with details, including Participant demographics and care requirements.
• Maintain understanding of PCA plans and adjust schedules without interrupting care.
• Communicate PCA service needs to the LIFE Pittsburgh team and IDT.
• Develop professional relationships with internal and external staff to ensure service alignment.
• Address staffing shortages and scheduling conflicts by coordinating with the IDT and transportation teams.
• Match staff availability to open participant visits to ensure quality care.
• Maintain the scheduling system and generate reports as required.
• Communicate delays or changes promptly using approved channels.
• May perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
