Shenandoah Valley Westminster-Canterbury seeks a Safety and Security Manager to supervise security operations and ensure life safety systems are fully functional. You will lead the Safety Committee, coordinate emergency drills, and maintain compliance with federal and state regulations, while managing budgeting and staff performance.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, five years of management experience, and a CLSS-HC certification (or willingness to obtain).

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Life Safety Specialist for Health care Facilities (CLSS-HC) or willingness to obtain certification.
• Leadership experience in safety and/or security highly desirable.
• Emergency Services Management experience highly desirable.
• Minimum five years of management experience; healthcare background preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee all security department operations and activities.
• Chair the Safety Committee and prepare meeting agendas/minutes.
• Coordinate emergency planning and drills (fire, weather, active shooter, workplace violence).
• Ensure life safety systems and alarms are maintained and compliant with regulations.
• Develop and manage department budgets and policies; liaise with State Regulators.
