Job summary

LifeSpire of Virginia seeks a Safety, Security & Emergency Preparedness Manager to lead campus safety, security, and emergency programs in a senior living community. This hands-on leadership role balances security operations with exceptional resident service.

You will manage security technology, investigations, and concierge services while coordinating with law enforcement and emergency responders to ensure a welcoming, safe environment for residents, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience leading security, safety, or life-safety programs.
• Strong people leadership across shifts and teams.
• Ability to assess risk and make decisive decisions.
• Experience with security systems and access control.

Responsibilities

• Lead campus safety and concierge team across multiple shifts.
• Oversee access control, badges, call boxes, and traffic operations.
• Coordinate with facilities, law enforcement, and emergency responders.
• Investigate incidents and identify corrective actions.
• Develop procedures, checklists, and training materials.
