Job summary

Midland-Marvel Recruiters, LLC is seeking a Healthcare Risk Director for a facility in the United States. The role coordinates the risk management program, leads risk identification, avoidance, and mitigation with leadership, providers, and staff, and oversees investigations related to active litigation.

You will train leaders and staff on the risk management program, ensure proper incident reporting, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited program.
• Minimum 5 years in nursing with at least 3 years in director/manager roles.
• CPHRM certification preferred upon hire and required within 3 years.
• Must have Risk Management experience.
• Experience in a for-profit environment and prior director level experience preferred.

Healthcare facility looking to bring on Risk Director! Sign On Bonus and Full Relocation!

Coordinating multiple facets of the overall risk management process. Manage risk identification, avoidance, and mitigation by collaborating with all levels of leadership, provider, front end staff and other stakeholders. Manage the evolving needs of active litigation cases to include investigations, interviews, depositions, gathering of legal hold records and other needs as determined by legal counsel. Responsible for training leaders, providers and various staff on the risk management program and reporting of incidents.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school, BSN
• 5 years experience in Nursing with at least 3 years as a Director/Manager
• Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) certification preferred upon hire and required within 3 years of employment
• Must have Risk Management experience
• Experience working in a for-profit strongly preferred. Previous Director level experience preferred.
