The role oversees insurance, incident reporting, training, and compliance as the Ethics & Compliance Officer, requiring nursing leadership experience and NM RN licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited program.
• NM RN license is required.
• Minimum of 5 years nursing experience with at least 3 years in a director/manager role.
• Demonstrated experience in risk management within a healthcare setting.
• CPHRM certification is a plus, required within three years of employment.

Responsabilités

• Lead the overall risk management program, focusing on risk identification, avoidance, and mitigation.
• Collaborate with leadership, healthcare providers, and staff to implement effective risk management solutions.
• Manage litigation-related activities including investigations, interviews, and legal documentation.
• Provide training on risk management processes and incident reporting to hospital personnel.
• Offer expert consultation on informed consent, documentation standards, and disclosure practices.
• Oversee insurance policies related to professional liability, general liability, and property claims.
• Serve as the facility's Compliance and Ethics Officer.
