Your Health Organization in South Carolina is seeking a Business Office Manager to oversee financial operations and optimize revenue cycle management across our care network. The role focuses on accounts receivable, timely billing, and cross-department collaboration to maintain financial health.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and associate degree required.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, health care administration, human resources, or related field preferred.
• Strong organizational, time management, and leadership skills required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and validate patient insurance for assigned regions using the organization’s software and reports.
• Answer patient and employee questions related to copayments, insurance, billing, and collections.
• Assist with cash and insurance collections.
• Provide support to statewide Accounts Receivable team.
• Responsible for ongoing insurance validation.
• Provide critical financial information for new patients and clients.
• Update patient financial information including current primary and secondary insurances.
• Monitor and report on revenue cycle metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
• Perform audits on Care Management patients.
• Assist patients with billing inquiries, payment plans, and financial assistance options.
• Provide support to staff in navigating billing software and resolving patient financial concerns.
• Foster a culture of exceptional customer service and patient-centered care within the office.
• Serve as a liaison between office staff and regional leadership.
• Assist with service suspensions or discharges.
• Work with your team to resolve patient insurance issues and determine actions for upcoming appointments.
• Participate in coaching calls.
• Perform other duties as requested by the Company.
