Highmark Inc. is offering the Summer 2027 Reimbursement Analyst Undergraduate Internship in Phoenix.

The program provides hands-on exposure to data operations, reimbursement processes, and business analysis within the Professional Provider Reimbursement Operations (PPRO) team. Interns will work closely with Subject Matter Experts, Data Professionals, and leaders to help design, develop, maintain, and document master data infrastructure, while gaining experience in data analysis, process mapping,

Qualifications

Enrollment in an accredited college or university baccalaureate program is required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS include pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Information Systems, MIS, Healthcare Administration, Computer Information Technology, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

Communicate effectively with colleagues and external stakeholders in planning assignments and resolving issues.
Under supervision, provide entry‑level professional services for day‑to‑day operating objectives.
Participate in projects to develop professional skills and expertise.
Assist in planning and implementing unit projects and initiatives.
Conduct research and reporting with recommendations or proposals for action.
Participate in enrichment programs related to the operating unit.
Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
