Job summary

Riverview Health and Rehab in Southeast Michigan is seeking a Recruitment Coordinator to join the HR Team. The role focuses on sourcing, screening, interviewing, and processing new hires while ensuring compliance with HR policies and applicable laws.

You will educate hiring managers and guide them through offers and onboarding, while presenting weekly New Employee Orientation. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field and at least two years in healthcare

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field required.
• Minimum of two years recruiting experience in healthcare, with direct care and management experience preferred.
• Ability to comply with local, state, and federal regulations governing recruitment and HR activities.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing candidates through internal and external avenues and building relationships with educational institutions.
• Coordinate job requisitions, create accurate listings, and leverage HRIS/ATS for efficient recruitment processes.
• Screen applicants via ATS and interviews; coordinate reference and education checks as needed.
• Partner with hiring managers to schedule and conduct department interviews and onboarding.
• Manage recruitment incentives and coordinate with payroll for payments.
• Track key metrics (time to hire, status updates) in HRIS/ATS to meet SLAs.
• Present New Employee Orientation weekly and train on HR policies and procedures.
• Provide backup support to other HR team members and assist with other duties as assigned.
