Job summary

WVU Medicine Barnesville Hospital is seeking a recruiter to manage full-cycle recruitment across the organization. You will source, identify, evaluate, and engage qualified candidates in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.

Responsibilities include developing staffing plans, reviewing applications, conducting screens and interviews, and coordinating background checks and onboarding processes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in HR or Industrial Relations with one year of recruitment experience.
• Or Bachelor’s degree in HR/Business/IR with two years of recruitment experience.
• Or Associate degree with four years recruitment experience.
• Or High School Diploma with ten years of HR recruitment experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform recruitment for WVUH in accordance with values, goals, and regulatory guidelines.
• Develop and implement short and long-term recruitment plans to assure staffing availability.
• Review applications and resumes using assessments to evaluate qualifications.
• Proactively source to improve candidate pools and use diverse techniques.
• Conduct candidate screens and behavioral interviews.
• Coordinate hiring processes including screenings, background checks, and references.
• Maintain relationships with educational institutions to generate applicants and promote WVU Medicine.
