Job summary

WVU Medicine is seeking an Associate Recruiter or Recruiter to manage full-cycle recruitment in a fast-paced healthcare environment. You will source, screen, interview, and coordinate hiring processes while collaborating with HR partners to maintain strong candidate experiences.

The role includes developing recruitment plans, engaging with educational institutions, and promoting WVU Medicine as an employer of choice. On-site position with 40-hour weeks, based in Morgantown, WV.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in HR or Industrial Relations is required.
• Or a Bachelor's in HR, Business Administration, Industrial Relations or other related degree and one year of professional HR experience.
• Or an Associate degree in HR, Business Administration, Industrial Relations or other related degree and two years of professional HR experience.
• Or a High School Diploma and five years of experience in HR specializing in recruitment.
• Healthcare recruitment experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit qualified staff for assigned areas following WVU Medicine values and regulatory guidelines.
• Develop and implement short and long term recruitment plans with management.
• Review applications and resumes using assessments to evaluate qualifications.
• Proactively source candidates to improve pools using various techniques.
• Conduct candidate screens and interviews per employee selection processes.
• Analyze turnover, vacancy rate and selection data to support recruiting levels.
• Coordinate career events with educational institutions to promote WVU Medicine as an employer of choice.
• Coordinate hiring process including background checks and verifications.
