Capital One Healthcare Real Estate is seeking an Analyst, Underwriting & Portfolio Manager to support the Commercial Healthcare Real Estate lending team in Chicago. You will underwrite new transactions, analyze financials, and help manage a growing loan portfolio.

You’ll advance beyond entry-level credit work, conduct due diligence, model scenarios, assist with deal execution, and monitor risk across the portfolio, with mentoring from senior underwriters.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience is required.
• At least 2 years of experience in credit underwriting, portfolio management or commercial real estate.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills preferred.

• Perform due diligence on industry and company performance; synthesize research and draw conclusions.
• Perform thorough financial analysis and identify disparities, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Prepare financial modeling inputs and understand model mechanics.
• Analyze structuring options considering collateral and prepare credit approval documents.
• Coordinate closing process requirements and support deal execution.
• Shadow senior underwriters on reviewing and negotiating legal documentation.
• Communicate with external stakeholders with a sense of urgency.
