• Perform due diligence on industry and company performance; synthesize research and contribute to conclusions.
• Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify risks and mitigation strategies.
• Prepare financial modeling inputs and understand model mechanics.
• Analyze structuring options considering collateral and borrower value.
• Draft credit approval documents and participate in deal reviews and pipeline meetings.
• Coordinate closing requirements and shadow senior underwriters on documentation.
