Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. seeks a Journeyman Plumber to maintain and repair plumbing systems across multiple healthcare facilities in Temple, Texas. The role covers the 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM) and requires client-facing, independent work with minimal supervision.

You’ll troubleshoot complex issues, perform emergency responses, and ensure compliance with safety and infection-control standards, while coordinating with other teams and maintaining thorough records.

Qualifications

• Possession of a valid Journeyman Plumber license.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required for emergency response.
• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills for diagnosing complex plumbing issues.
• Proven ability to work with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.
• Driver’s License required; prior supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex plumbing issues across healthcare facilities.
• Respond to emergency tickets, participate in on-call rotations including weekends.
• Complete work orders on time with quality workmanship.
• Maintain records of repairs, installations, and inspections.
• Follow local codes, safety and infection-control standards.
• Collaborate with maintenance staff to integrate plumbing with building systems.
• Perform safety inspections on backflow devices and assist on projects.
• Provide training to staff for light plumbing maintenance.
• Performs general maintenance and responds to emergencies as needed.
