Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a qualified Plumber to perform preventive maintenance, repair, testing, installation, and troubleshooting of plumbing and distribution systems across a facility in Texas. The role sits within the Engineering and Technical Services function.

You will repair and install water systems, ensure proper waste/vent lines, assist on projects, conduct backflow safety inspections, and train staff on basic plumbing tasks, while adhering to HSE requirements and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Journeyman plumbing certification is required; Medical Gas and Backflow certifications preferred.
• High school diploma, GED or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of related experience.
• Valid driver’s license; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Repair, install, replace, test, and troubleshoot water and medical gas systems.
• Install new water systems, piping, and fixtures per blueprints and codes.
• Ensure waste and vent lines are operational; use plumber’s snake, vacuum plunger, or jet washer.
• Assist other staff or contractors on projects or equipment installations.
• Complete plumbing safety inspections on backflow devices.
• Provide training to staff for light plumbing maintenance and repair.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with others as needed.
• Follow all policies including HSE requirements and incident investigations.
