Job summary

Centene is seeking a program development manager to lead cross-functional efforts in improving clinical and administrative operations through standards, policies, workflows, and decision-support systems.

You will partner with Quality Analytics and Improvement Teams, Health Services and Operations to design programs, guide root cause analyses, and manage performance improvement projects from topic selection to final submission.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Master's degree preferred in business or healthcare management.
• Experience leading healthcare quality improvement initiatives.
• Strong analytical and project-management skills.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams across departments.

Responsibilities

• Oversees development and implementation of programs aligned with strategic initiatives.
• Designs programs, workflows, and integrations meeting regulatory and quality requirements.
• Acts as SME to operation managers for project plans, root cause analysis and progress tracking.
• Leads state-required Performance Improvement Projects (PIP) from topic selection to submission.
• Conducts needs assessments and shares information with program teams and stakeholders.
• Partners with Quality Analytics to determine data needs and design reports.
• Collaborates with clinical and operations staff to improve patient quality of care.
• Performs other duties as assigned and ensures policy compliance.
