Job summary

Detroit Medical Center is seeking a results-driven healthcare leader to direct Clinical Improvement across assigned site(s) and drive performance improvement initiatives for departments and services. This role emphasizes policy development, protocol implementation, and cross-functional collaboration to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.

The position requires RN licensure in Michigan, a relevant degree, and extensive management experience in an acute-care setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Health Care Administration or closely related field.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan.
• Three years of progressively more responsible experience in a related field.
• Three years progressively more responsible management experience in an acute care facility with at least one year of frequent involvement with senior management, physicians and outside patient care providers.
• Experience in the use of personal computers as well as knowledge of statistical or spreadsheet software tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversees performance improvement activities across hospital departments and patient improvement teams.
• Directs policy, pathway, protocol, guideline and/or pre-printed order development/implementation and analyzes results.
• Develops and monitors functional processes and budgets in alignment with system goals.
• Ensures compliance with laws, regulations and diversity objectives.
