Candidates should bring a nursing or health administration background, licensure in Michigan, and significant management experience in acute care, plus proficiency with PC tools and data analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Health Care Administration or related field.
• Master's degree in a health-related field preferred.
• Licensed to practice as an RN in Michigan.
• 3+ years progressively responsible experience in healthcare.
• 3+ years management in an acute care setting with senior involvement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee performance improvement across hospital departments and services.
• Direct policy, pathway, protocol, guideline development and implementation.
• Develop and monitor functional processes and organizational structure.
• Approve personnel actions and ensure timely performance appraisals.
• Develop budget, ensure regulatory compliance and audit follow-through.
