Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; RN or other clinical licensure preferred.
• 4–6 years of experience in healthcare or directly related field.
• Certification in health care quality or patient safety preferred; required within 2 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates performance improvement efforts and coaches others.
• Maintains competence in licensure, certification, accreditation requirements.
• Coordinates Performance Improvement Committee meetings and analyzes trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Provides consultation to leadership in quality, compliance, accreditation and safety.
• Implements corrective action plans based on surveys and tracer activities.
• Develops improvement strategies informed by leading practice research and shares results.
• Utilizes data analysis and SPC to improve quality and clinical outcomes.
• Trains staff to use monitoring and measurement tools and data analysis techniques.
• Educates on accreditation compliance and matters.
