Job summary

MCR Health is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist in Bradenton, FL. This role focuses on auditing patient registrations, insurance verifications, scheduling accuracy, and front-office workflows to ensure adherence to policy and quality standards.

You will monitor performance metrics, develop audit tools, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership. Collaboration with PSR and leadership teams supports continuous improvements in patient access and experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in healthcare administration, quality management, or related field preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Maximum three years in patient services, healthcare operations, insurance verification, or related healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine audits of patient registrations, insurance verifications, scheduling accuracy, and front-office workflows.
• Evaluate compliance with organizational policies, procedures, regulatory standards, and quality expectations.
• Monitor performance metrics and identify trends, patterns, and corrective action areas.
• Develop and maintain quality monitoring tools, audit forms, scorecards, and tracking systems.
• Perform root cause analysis related to workflow inconsistencies and operational deficiencies.
• Provide audit findings, recommendations, and action plans to leadership.
• Track corrective actions and monitor improvements after training interventions.
• Assist with internal audits, accreditation reviews, and compliance assessments.
