MCR Health, Inc. in Bradenton, FL, is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support direct patient care and clinical operations. You will perform vital signs, patient interviews, and charting while collaborating with providers and care teams.

The role requires pregnancy of a fast-paced clinic environment, flexibility to float between sites, and adherence to safety and documentation standards. A valid MA credential and BLS are required.

Competenze

• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant Program.
• Submit proof of externship hours from an accredited program.
• Current BLS Certification required.
• ACLS Certification required for Cardio Department.
• Ability to verify graduation from an accredited school.

• Responsible for providing vital signs, interviewing the patient/family, and charting.

• Maintains positive effective communication with providers, supervisors, peers, and subordinates.
• Ensures Provider’s orders are directed to the various appropriate departments.

• Completes medication and DME authorizations for patients in a timely manner.
• Knowledgeable in walk-in triage and interventions regarding patient's age under the leadership of the Clinical Nurse Leader.

a Medical Assistant/Bradenton Family

Work Location: Bradenton, FL

As Part Of This Role, You Will

Requirements

What you need to bring to this role:

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant with 1 – 2 years’ experience preferred
• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant Program required
• Submit proof of externship hours from an accredited program required
• Ability to verify graduation from an accredited school
• Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety and Health Institute Required
• Cardio Department ONLY: ACLS Certification through the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Health and Safety Institute Required
• Valid government or State ID

Summary

This individual assures that services are administered utilizing professional standards with a strong focus on quality, timely care, and exceptional customer service under the direction of the medical provider. Assist in the maintenance of an environment conducive to the health, training, and well‑being of peers and patients. This individual may have to float to sites as needed at the direction of the Department Head or designee.
