Responsibilities

• Analyzes data trends using statistical tools and software.
• Directs development of SQL queries to support data inquiries.
• Develops and coordinates data collection for various hospital scorecards and reporting.
• Assists in Joint Commission readiness activities and Disease Specific Certifications.
• Analyzes and studies clinical workflow to determine inefficiencies and improve processes.
• Participates in hospital-wide and department-specific Quality and Performance Improvement projects and programs.
• Identifies opportunities to use facility and industry data to support improvement projects.
• Employs Lean, Six Sigma and other evidence-based improvement methodologies to guide, measure and sustain quality improvement.
