Qualifications

• Masters level degree with at least three years of work experience in auditing/QA in a healthcare setting.
• Experience reviewing patient charts and ensuring documentation compliance with standards.

Responsibilities

• Implements QA work plan portions as outlined in policy.
• Conducts record reviews and audits of electronic and paper records.
• Accompanies external auditors during audits when needed.
• Writes and distributes Corrective Action Plans and tracks responses.
• Develops policies and procedures with staff to prevent errors.
• Responds to corrective actions from funding agencies as needed.
• Develops and conducts trainings on medical record quality.
• Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor/CEO.
