Job summary

SLS Consultants is seeking a Healthcare Project Manager to join our Healthcare Consulting team. You will lead planning through occupancy for complex healthcare capital projects such as hospitals and ambulatory facilities.

You will partner with executive stakeholders, manage budgets and schedules, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver on time and to spec. Travel may be required; hybrid and on-site options exist.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management in construction, real estate, healthcare facilities, or owner representation.
• Experience managing healthcare projects (hospitals, medical office buildings, outpatient facilities).
• Strong budget, scheduling, controls, and construction administration skills.
• Proven ability to lead client-facing meetings and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with PM tools such as Procore, MS Project, Smartsheet.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for healthcare clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage project scope, budget, schedule, and risk to ensure successful delivery.
• Lead design, construction, and consultant teams while driving accountability and performance.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to meet objectives.
• Develop and maintain schedules, budgets, dashboards, and executive updates.
• Facilitate meetings and communicate with client leadership and teams.
• Review change orders, cost estimates, contracts, and project financials.
• Support procurement, bids, value engineering, and constructability reviews.
• Monitor quality, compliance, and overall execution.
• Drive closeout, turnover, punch lists, and occupancy readiness.
