Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with healthcare experience, or equivalent.
• 1 year (MS) or 2 years (BS) of full-time healthcare experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Supervisory and administrative abilities required.

Responsibilities

• Consult with medical staff to plan and coordinate joint patient and management objectives.
• Provide administrative supervision for a health service program.
• Plan, develop, and may conduct staff training programs to maintain proficiency.
• Allocate staff on basis of workload, space, and equipment availability.
• Coordinate research projects and evaluate rehabilitative programs within the department.
• Direct processing of orders for equipment, prosthetic appliances, and medical supplies.
• Consult with medical, nursing and other staff to clarify documentation and ensure timely certification.
• Ensure that compliance policies and procedures are current and followed.
• Supervise office administration and record keeping activities of the department.
