Job summary

The University of Chicago Booth School of Business is seeking an Assistant Director for Booth Healthcare Programs on the Hyde Park campus. This role supports the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of center programs and events, including the Healthcare Speaker Series, Booth Healthcare Fellowship Program, Healthcare Scholar-in-Residence, and related alumni activities.

You will partner with other departments, sustain alumni and external stakeholder connections, and advance the center's

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Less than 2 years of related work experience.
• Experience advising or mentoring students and managing student-facing programs.
• Background in healthcare is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manages a portfolio of healthcare programs from inception to completion.
• Creates, schedules and publishes digital and social media content to promote center programming.
• Manages financial, operational, and logistical details for events (speakers, venues, travel, catering).
• Supports the Booth Healthcare Fellowship Program and related activities.
• Liaises with student groups to plan and deliver related programming.
• Collaborates with Alumni Relations, Career Services, Admissions, and others.
• Processes travel reimbursements and contract payments; tracks expenses.
• Uses data to inform decision-making and evaluates programs with surveys and metrics.
• Contributes to new programming initiatives under the Director’s guidance.
• Represents the center at meetings and events; administers services to participants.
• Plans quality assurance reviews and performs related duties.
