Job summary

Blue Shield of California is seeking an Experienced Program Coordinator to support the Medical Care Programs team in operations, oversight, and the planning and implementation of AI solutions, analysis, coordination, and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• 3 years of prior relevant experience
• Prefers familiarity with health care data and the health care delivery system in California; health plan or provider experience strongly desired
• Prefers experience related to member- or provider-facing programs, such as Utilization Management or Care/Case Management
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to engage cross-functional stakeholders to drive requirements and coordination
• Strong organizational and/or project management skills, consistent ability to "self-start," take ownership and seek assistance when necessary
