Job summary

Nebraska Medicine is seeking a Clinical Performance Improvement Lead to drive healthcare process changes using Lean and Six Sigma. The role blends clinical insight with data-driven project leadership to enhance safety, quality and operational efficiency across the organization.

The position is hybrid (about three days on-site per week) and requires a nursing or healthcare-related degree with strong communication and project management skills. Credentialed Lean/Six Sigma or PMP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years nursing, allied health or related healthcare experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or other healthcare-related field required.
• Strong communication skills across roles and leadership levels.
• Experience implementing process improvements and facilitating teams.
• Experience analyzing processes and data to drive improvements.
• Must complete Lean or Six Sigma certification within 6 months if not already obtained.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements.
• Utilize Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to drive safety, quality and efficiency.
• Analyze clinical data and performance metrics to guide improvements and validate outcomes.
