Job summary

UAB Medicine in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Process Improvement Analyst to drive Lean, Six Sigma and process redesign initiatives within Legacy of Hope. You will map processes, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with stakeholders to reduce waste and errors while improving patient care.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in business or a health field, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (or equivalent) within first year, and proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Visio or QI Macros.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or in a health-related field.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification (or must obtain within first year of hire).
• Experience in Process or Performance Improvement methodologies or experience with organ and/or tissue donation and/or transplantation.

Responsibilities

• Identify and deliver Continuous Process Improvement initiatives using tools such as Process Mapping, Root Cause Analysis, Lean, Six Sigma and PDSA.
• Lead cross-functional teams to apply improvement methodologies to new or existing processes and measure impact on organizational goals.
