Job summary

CORE is seeking a Preconstruction Manager in Scottsdale, AZ to lead the preconstruction phase for healthcare projects, coordinate trade partners, and drive cost estimation accuracy. The role oversees an team of Assistant Preconstruction Managers and collaborates with stakeholders, ensuring compliance with healthcare construction standards.

Responsibilities include developing cost models, managing design coordination, and presenting deliverables to clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years preconstruction experience.
• Healthcare construction experience (required).
• Healthcare Construction Certification (required).
• ICRA certification and/or experience.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam, Building Connected, Construct Connect.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the project lead for preconstruction efforts, overseeing communication, deliverables, options, and estimates.
• Identify project challenges and develop mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with Senior Preconstruction Manager and Assistant Preconstruction Managers.
• Oversee bid processes, trade coordination, and project timelines.
• Review QTOs and breakdowns prepared by APMs.
• Develop early-stage cost models using historical data.
• Lead risk assessment and mitigation planning.
• Present deliverables to clients and stakeholders; coordinate handoff to operations.
