Job summary

Maimonides Medical Center seeks a division operations leader to oversee the business operations of the Faculty Practice and off-site clinics. You will monitor scheduling, billing workflows, staffing, budgeting, patient experience and overall operational efficiency.

Required are at least 5 years in health administration with managerial experience, plus strong knowledge of billing systems and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Health Administration is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a health-related field with managerial responsibility is required.
• Knowledge of computerized billing systems and related software is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manages operations of the Practice; liaises between division and other departments to ensure smooth operation.
• Develops and implements billing policies and procedures compliant with regulations; analyzes payor systems to increase revenue.
• Manages provider schedules, eligibility checks and appointment confirmations; oversees OR scheduling collaboration.
• Reviews monthly reports, plans for productivity, and coordinates process improvements for efficiency and cost reduction.
