Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 5-7 years of healthcare-operations experience. Masters degree preferred.
• Significant experience in supporting and optimizing a sizable medical practice or practice system from an operational standpoint.
• Speaks, reads and writes English to the extent required by the position.
• Understanding of cost accounting concepts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Peoplesoft.

Responsibilities

• Assist with practice integration and alignment through assessing the local stakeholder environment and building the support system needed to address improvement opportunities among front-line staff, department managers, practice administrators, providers and senior medical directors.
• Conduct current-state assessments by shadowing staff members and mapping out existing workflows to identify areas for workflow optimization and access improvement.
• Identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement in office workflows and assist departments in operationalizing the necessary changes.
• Assist with onboarding and practice transformation through assisting new providers successfully transition into our system and support practice moves and consolidations.
• Develop an efficient, effective and positive collaborative relationship between community physicians, Faculty Physicians and staff with Medical Center staff and Faculty
