Job summary

Horizon Health and Wellness, a longstanding provider serving central and southern Arizona, seeks a Practice Manager to lead both clinical and non-clinical teams. You will drive front- and back-office operations, scheduling, billing, and patient referrals to ensure excellent service and compliance.

The role requires a minimum of three years in medical office management, strong EMR and MS Office skills, and willingness to work variable hours including nights/weekends when needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years medical office management experience.
• Knowledge and experience working with Electronic Medical Records and Microsoft Office Software.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and reliable transportation.
• Knowledge of State and Federal regulations as it relates to Health Care.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends on an emergency basis.
• Demonstrable theoretical knowledge in the field.
• Must obtain and maintain a fingerprint card and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and management of clinical and non-clinical teams to ensure service quality.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of front and back-office procedures.
• Manage scheduling, data collection, and payment collections.
• Oversee billing, document scanning, vaccine and medication management, and referrals.
• Ensure compliance with health care regulations and organizational strategies.
