Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Medical Practice Supervisor to coordinate and supervise clerical and clinical teams under the direction of the practice administrator and physicians. The role includes scheduling, registration, billing, collections, and supporting patient and team member satisfaction, as well as handling purchasing.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, with two years of supervisory or clerical experience in a medical office and proficiency in Microsoft

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or GED equivalent programs.
• Prior supervisory experience or minimum two years in a medical office, and two years progressively responsible clerical/secretarial experience involving public contact.
• Excellent communication skills, leadership abilities, positive attitude, ability to multitask, organized and flexible.
• Microsoft Excel and Word knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise clerical team members and the clinical team members when assigned by the practice administrator and physician(s).
• Assist with scheduling, registration, billing, collection, patient and team member satisfaction, and purchasing.
