Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to support the practice manager and physicians, ensuring smooth patient flow and optimal physician satisfaction. The role liaises between practice administration, providers, and the clinical team to uphold high-quality care and service.

Responsibilities include coordinating patient care, maintaining regulatory compliance, setting up rooms, and supporting practice operations. Requires nursing or CMA credentials and supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in a physician office.
• Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Good communicator, problem solver, flexible, organized, positive attitude.
• Prior supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates patient care with physicians in office/hospital/referrals.
• Acts as liaison between the practice administrator, providers, and team members.
• Monitors team members and initiates follow-up calls per protocol and HIPAA.
• Sets up examination rooms and ensures materials and equipment are available.
• Ensures compliance with CLIA, OSHA and state regulations.
• Oversees safety and proper handling of medical waste and sharps.
• Grooms staff to greet and communicate professionally with patients and families.
• Assists with accounts payable information, deposits, and monthly reports.
• Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
• Adheres to organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
