Job summary

AdventHealth in Daytona Beach is seeking an experienced Practice Operations Administrator to oversee clinical operations, ensure compliance with accreditation standards, and coordinate staff scheduling across multiple clinics.

You will review billing and coding to support timely reimbursement, supervise staff performance, and drive patient satisfaction initiatives while maintaining a safe patient care environment in a Day shift.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of accrediting agency and state regulations.
• Bachelor's in Business Administration preferred.
• High School Grad or Equiv required.
• Experience in medical records, coding and reimbursement preferred.
• Significant management experience in a group practice environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Report therapeutic and diagnostic concerns and safety issues to the Director of Practice Operations.
• Review billing practices and coding to ensure timely physician and office reimbursement.
• Ensure employees are oriented within the hospital and their department, and evaluate them according to performance appraisal policies.
• Conduct routine departmental meetings and document attendance and discussion minutes.
• Coordinate installation of computers, staff education, and problem resolution at physician site locations.
• Review satisfaction survey results with staff and suggest ways to improve patient satisfaction.
• Assist Director of Practice Operations in ensuring clinics comply with accreditation standards, CMS Conditions of Participation, and state regulations.
• Establish staff schedules, ensure adequate coverage, and manage physician scheduling.
• Provide a safe environment for patient care through practice rounds, inventory control, and equipment checks.
• Monitor and document patient care, including nursing assessments, treatments, order completion, patient education, and referrals.
