AdventHealth in Ormond Beach, Florida is seeking an experienced healthcare operations leader to oversee departmental performance, budgeting, and patient access initiatives. The role emphasizes development of a centralized referral center, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration with clinical and IT leadership.

The successful candidate will drive staffing strategies, monitor metrics, and guide growth initiatives to improve patient access and outcomes in a dynamic health system

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with fiscal management, performance tracking metrics, and SLAs.
• Strong management experience and ability to lead a high performing team.
• Ability to collaborate with internal/external partners to improve patient care coordination.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to develop analytics and growth strategies for opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide monthly reporting and outcomes to Executives and Site Practice Administrators.
• Monitor and track department performance with a metrics-based dashboard.
• Develop and manage annual department budgets with finance ROI models.
• Lead patient care navigation initiatives including vendor management and performance metrics reporting.
• Develop centralized patient referral center and growth goals.
• Collaborate with ambulatory leadership to optimize provider time.
• Coordinate with IT/Systems/Telecom to maintain referral center platform.
• Recruit and develop call center staff while managing SLAs and performance.
• Create strategic business plans outlining growth objectives and initiatives.
