Job summary

Accordia Bank in Pleasant Grove, UT seeks an experienced Practice Lending Loan Officer to grow the healthcare lending portfolio and expand relationships with medical, dental, and veterinary practice owners. You will develop new business opportunities, structure and close commercial loans, and build full banking relationships including deposits and treasury management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial lending experience in a banking environment.
• Strong expertise in financial statement analysis, cash flow analysis, credit underwriting, and loan structuring.
• Experience with lending products including lines of credit, equipment financing, owner-occupied CRE, term loans, and construction financing.
• Familiarity with SBA 7(a) and SBA 504 lending programs.
• Proven ability to develop referral-based business through professional networks.
• Experience using financial spreading and loan underwriting platforms (Moody's, Sageworks, nCino, or similar).
• Strong communication, consultative sales, and relationship management skills.
• Proven ability to independently manage a lending pipeline and meet production goals.

Responsibilities

• Grow healthcare lending portfolio and market share in assigned territories.
• Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, dentists, veterinarians, and other healthcare practice owners.
• Build referral networks with healthcare CPAs, attorneys, consultants, brokers, and vendors.
• Structure financing solutions for practice acquisitions, startups, buy-ins, expansions, equipment, CRE, and working capital.
• Educate borrowers and serve as a trusted advisor throughout the lending process.
• Gather and analyze financial documents, tax returns, and valuations.
• Coordinate closing activities with attorneys, appraisers, brokers, and stakeholders.
• Partner with retail banking and treasury teams to deepen client relationships.
