Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
• At least five years of commercial lending experience is required.
• Active license with NMLS or ability to obtain one.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of financial analysis and creditworthiness is required.
• Knowledge of bank lending and collections programs, policies, and procedures is required.
• Proven track record of community involvement and business development.
• Familiarity with property management and maintenance procedures preferred.
• Trustworthy and security conscious.
• Strong interviewing and communication skills.
• Able to use a financial calculator and related software.

Responsibilities

• Direct and administer the branch's operational and commercial lending efforts.
• Receive, review, and evaluate loan requests; explain credit policies to applicants.
• Monitor construction loans and oversee loan documentation and processes.
• Cross-sell bank services and provide customer information.
• Hire, train, and supervise staff; manage scheduling and workflow.
• Develop business and market existing and prospective accounts.
• Ensure branch operations comply with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Represent the bank in the community and participate in meetings and committees.
