Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Practice Administrator I to oversee the daily operations of one or more clinics. The role balances clinical workflows with strategic aims to improve health outcomes, patient experience, and cost control within the Medical Group.

The position requires managing revenue cycle, budgeting, HR, and recruitment while coordinating with physicians and leadership to drive growth and quality care across multiple clinics.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years healthcare management experience in a physician practice.
• Experience leading clinical and operational teams.
• Experience with Epic EMR is a plus.
• Strong budgeting and Excel/spreadsheet skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensures patient care-focused workflows and aligns them with system goals.
• Manages revenue cycle, budgeting, and financial analysis for the practice.
• Prepares financial data and reviews operating expenses against benchmarks.
• Collaborates with Executive Committee to implement policies and staffing plans.
• Leads staffing, recruitment, and staff development for the practice.
