Job Description: Paralegal at Pediatric Home Service

Location: Fully Remote

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p (Hybrid work schedule)

Position Overview

The Paralegal supports legal and administrative functions, including researching regulatory matters, preparing correspondence, supporting business development through due diligence, reviewing contractual documents, and maintaining licensing and credentialing records for PHS entities.

This role requires managing multiple tasks with competing deadlines, exercising judgment in administrative and legal matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support regulatory, licensing, auditing, and credentialing initiatives.
  • Complete due diligence, review, and organize contracts and documents for accurate and timely filings.
  • Draft and update legal documents under counsel's guidance; prepare documents from templates.
  • Research statutes and regulations.
  • Assist with business development activities as needed.
  • Manage project timelines, ensuring deadlines are met.
Qualifications
  • 5-7 years’ paralegal experience, including at least 3 years in healthcare law (Medicare, Medicaid, credentialing, licensing), preferably multistate.
  • Attention to detail, organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise self-direction, and prioritize tasks.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-accredited program (required).
