Job description

Pediatric Home Service is a friendly and professional leader in home health care with a singular passion for and commitment to taking care of the child. Location and Hours
  • Location: Fully Remote
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
    • Hybrid work schedule
The Position

The Paralegal position provides legal support for administrative programs, including researching regulatory and compliance matters, preparing documents for internal and external correspondence, performing due diligence to support business development, reviewing and summarizing contractual documents, and maintaining credentialing and licensing documents, filings, and records for PHS entities.

This role requires managing multiple tasks and projects with competing priorities and deadlines, exercising initiative and judgment in administrative and legal tasks.

  • Support regulatory, licensing, auditing, and credentialing initiatives.
  • Complete due diligence, including review and organization of contracts and documents, ensuring accurate and timely filings.
  • Draft and update legal documents under counsel's guidance; prepare legal documents from templates independently.
  • Research statutes and regulations.
  • Support business development activities as needed.
  • Manage project timelines for administrative initiatives, ensuring deadlines are met.
Qualifications

5-7 years of experience as a paralegal, including at least 3 years in healthcare, with knowledge of healthcare law, Medicare, Medicaid, credentialing, and regulatory licensing (multistate preferred).

Attention to detail, excellent organizational and time management skills, clear and concise writing.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.

Ability to work independently, exercise self-direction, and manage priorities to meet deadlines with minimal oversight.

Effective communication skills, ability to work with diverse groups, and develop rapport at all levels.

Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-accredited program is required.
