Job description

Position: Healthcare Paralegal

Location: Fully Remote

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p

Hybrid work schedule

The Position

The Paralegal provides legal support for administrative programs, including researching regulatory and compliance matters, preparing documents for correspondence, performing due diligence for business development, reviewing contractual documents, and maintaining credentialing and licensing records for PHS entities.

This role involves managing multiple tasks with competing priorities and deadlines, exercising judgment in administrative and legal tasks.

  • Support regulatory, licensing, auditing, and credentialing initiatives.
  • Complete due diligence, including contract review and organization, ensuring timely filings.
  • Draft and update legal documents under counsel's guidance; prepare documents from templates.
  • Research statutes and regulations.
  • Support business development efforts as needed.
  • Manage project timelines to meet deadlines.
The Qualifications
  • 5-7 years’ paralegal experience, including at least 3 years in healthcare, with knowledge of healthcare law, Medicare, Medicaid, credentialing, and licensing (multistate preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and clear writing.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities with minimal oversight.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work with diverse groups.
  • Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-accredited program (required).
